"Nature's Window", 18x24"
This piece was inspired by on of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been— Kalbarri National Park in Western Australia (see photos of this spot with the memories made in the slide show to the left)
The photograph that inspired this painting was taken by my good friend, Kaitlyn, during her travels through Western Australia. Funny enough, I had been to this exact spot a few years prior in 2015 with my brother, Jake. This spot where my brother and I are standing is called the Z-Bend gorge, and was near what they call the “Nature’s Window” (which is what I named this painting after).
I clearly remember the day my brother and I visited this wild place. We canoed down the gorge and made her international travelling friends. We had an amazing time climbing and exploring the never-ending red rock.
I hope this painting brings you feelings and memories of grounded adventures, full of unexpected pleasant surprises.
Welcome to the Wild Places, love.
18x24”, cold wax and oil paint on wood panel. Custom pine floater frame included. Painting comes ready to hang.
