Can I return the artwork I purchased?
All sales of original artwork are final. If you have questions or concerns about your purchase, please contact me.
I purchased a painting, but now it’s on sale. Can I have the discount amount refunded to me?
Absolutely! I am happy to issue you a retroactive discount if the purchase was made within a week of the beginning of the sale.
My artwork arrived damaged/was not delivered/was lost/was stolen from my doorstep. Is this something you can help with?
I am not liable for any mishandling or failed delivery by the shipping service (Canada Post, domestically or internationally), and we are not liable for any damage incurred post-delivery. Each painting is packaged carefully and appropriately to do the very best at preventing damage while en route to your home. Please handle your new artwork with care when it arrives and while framing and hanging it in your home. If there is an issue that you are not happy with, please be kind and keep in mind that I don’t run the post office or Canada Post services, and have no control over the treatment of your package in transit. It’s just as heartbreaking for me to see damaged artwork as it is for you to receive them.
Not Delivered / Lost / Stolen: If your package is marked “Delivered” but is nowhere to be found, please first check your confirmation email to ensure that you input the correct shipping address. If the address was incorrect and the painting is returned to my studio, I will be more than happy to forward it to your correct address, though I ask that you pay for the postage. If the address is correct and you believe your package to have been lost, stolen, or if you missed the delivery, you must contact the shipping service personally. Unfortunately, I am unable to address any failed delivery or theft issues directly as this is not in my control.
I ordered a painting, but I’m unsatisfied with the colours now that I see it in person. What do I do?
Please read the additional information on each piece of work carefully as I explain that colours may vary slightly on different screens due to different lighting and colour settings (something we have no control over unifying gloabally). If this is a concerns of yours, check the colours on multiple screens before purchasing. I use a calibrated screen for editing purposes, especially for prints (coming soon), so I do my best to ensure accurate depictions of colour variations honestly and clearly of my work.

Secure Payments
Wherever sensitive information is collected (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to Caitlyn Mary Art in a secure way through a Payment Processing System (Stripe (online) or Square (in-person sales), depending on the checkout process). I do not, nor will I ever, have access to your personal credit or debit card information.
PRIVACY POLICY
Your privacy is important to me. I will not share any information that is required or voluntarily supplied to me via e-mail, newsletter sign up, during or after purchasing an item, or any other means of communications (this may include personal demographic or financial information).
Billing and Payments
If, in my judgement, your transaction is flagged as high-risk, I reserve the right to withhold sale to anyone. Paintings will not be shipping until full payment is received and successfully processed.
