Hi there, I’m Caitlyn Mary

I am a fine artist, public health nurse and momma to my two cats living in Belleville, Ontario, Canada with my partner (who you will meet later if you haven’t already!), Cameron. I’m passionate about painting mixed-media abstracts inspired by nature and the energies that encompass the connection we all share in this life.

My creative practice allows time to be intentionally lost; it brings me peace and offers space to feel grounded in each present moment. There is a beautiful sense of serenity that washes over me while I’m creating. As an artist, I feel I’m honouring who I truly am when I step into my studio, which allows me to embrace the magic and fulfilment that this creates within. 

My highest desire is to inspire feelings of peace, deep connection and true belonging through my paintings. I’m constantly in awe of nature and the human experience on this earth, and choose to focus my work in celebration of these things that I love and find so beautiful. 

My dream of starting “Caitlyn Mary Art” officially became a reality in May of 2020. Without expectation, I decided to set foot on a great adventure sooner than I had ever thought I would.

I am so grateful for my partner, Cameron, who decided to share in this dream with me. Cameron builds wood panels, canvases, and floater frames for artists across Ontario. Together, we have set foot on a journey of growth and discovery through offering art to the world.
