There is a story that goes beyond these paintings. A story from a real person, in a real place. A story of brave women and adventure. A story of nature lovers, who dedicate their lives to improving the health of Mother Nature.

Today, I share with you a story from my good friend, Kaitlyn, about her experience in this wild place. You can see her photographs in the slide show to the left which inspired these paintings. This place is called Alice Springs. Here is Kaitlyn’s words:

“Nawietooma Station. North of the Tjorita West Macdonnel National Park. We were doing a 3 day fence patrol/repair. It was 42 degrees each day, but the best trip because we saw so much wildlife including dingos, heaps of different birds, and gray falcons which are extremely rare! Another good memory about this place is that I was with my good friend and college, Kelly, and we were just two badass women out in the middle of nowhere doing a traditionally male job”— Kaitlyn, Park Ranger.

Welcome to the Wild Places, love.

price includes BOTH 24x24” paintings, cold wax and oil paint on handcrafted wood panel. Custom pine floater frames included. Paintings come ready to hang.
