"Hout Bay", 6x8"
This painting is inspired by the photographs and memories (view in the slide show to the left) of my adventures in Hout Bay, Cape Town, South Africa. I went to South Africa for 3 months to volunteer back in 2012. One day, I went on an adventure with my good friend to Hout Bay, where we visited Seal Island and went snorkelling with the seals in the ocean! It was one of the most amazing experiences. I favourite memory of this day was watching the baby seals learn how to jump in the water with their mommas. Nature never fails to fill my heart and offer pure inspiration.
